Lysimachia
Campanula cashmeriana

ephemerum
Another of my personal favorites, slender spikes of lance-shaped, glaucous, grey-green foliage terminating in long (to 16 inches), narrow recemes of small but densely-packed white flowers with a delicate mauve center. Clump-forming, the blue-green foliage remains attractive and decorative in the garden even after flowering is over, giving me a full summer of enjoyment from a single plant.
Size: 3 feet tall, 12 inches wide
Flowering Time: mid-summer
Zone: ? reference 7 - 9, but mine have been perfectly happy here in zone 5 for years.
Sun/Shade: $5.00, pot size 3"
Price: $5.00, pot size 3"

Lysimachia

nummularia 'Aurea'
Stunning foliage!! Vigorous, spreading, stem-rooting ground cover with amazingly bright golden yellow, round, leaves, producing yellow flowers during the summer, but they are lost among the leaves. Word of warning -use this with discretion. A sea of screaming yellow can be somewhat overwhelming in your garden, and this plant can really get out of control if you are not really keeping your eye on it. Really. I am speaking from experience. Please believe me. That said, though, a small swath can be a really lovely backdrop in spring with blue scilla and chiondoxa growing through it.
Size: 2 inches tall, width variable/infinite
Flowering Time: summer
Zones: 4- 8
Sun/Shade: full sun to full shade
Price: $3.00, pot size 3"
